Grocery stores throw out food too! Tim Nolf, Manager of Brown’s ShopRite talks about how donating food is important to the mission of the Shop Rite. In addition, he talks about the product that lost in transport and testifies that the problem with food waste is that food that is edible in grocery stores is being thrown away. He then goes on to talk about how they process the product once they receive the shipment of food daily and the importance to Brown’s to give surplus food to the right people to distribute it back to the local community.
